Since November 2021, I have been working with Gateshead-based factual TV production company Twenty Six 03 in the role of writer/researcher. In this role, I have a number of tasks and jobs.
I have been responsible for writing pitching documents and treatments for documentaries and factual formats, selling TV ideas to major broadcasters. I frequently work as a researcher, from simple tasks like finding talent contact details to larger projects like conducting archive research for a BBC documentary series. One of my main tasks is the creation of pitch decks using photoshop. This involves creating stylish, appealing images and writing intriguing copy that sells a project and gives as much information as possible in an engaging way. Pitch decks I have created have been used when selling projects to major broadcasters such as BBC and ITV.
