Bio

Harry Ford is an up-and-coming stand-up comedian based in Northern England. Described by Lauren Pattison (2x Edinburgh Fringe nominee) as “a real star in the making”, Harry is a natural storyteller who blends sharp writing and relatable material about marrying into a Brazilian family and being a ‘square’ with a relaxed, conversational style and “fantastic stage presence and confidence” (The Stand). Despite his relatively short time on the comedy circuit, Harry’s unique blend of youthful naivety and middle-aged weariness has already earned him weekend spots for established comedy clubs and promoters.

Harry has been gigging regularly since early 2022. He has gigged for The Stand, Hilarity Bites, and Shoecake Comedy amongst others, and has established himself as a popular and endearing MC hosting for promoters including Felt Nowt and Cat & Stick. He is one of the regular MCs of The Stand’s ‘Red Raw’ nights, where he has hosted sell out crowds of 250+ people.

In 2022, he placed 2nd in Felt Nowt‘s ‘New Act of the Year’ competition. In July 2022, he appeared at the 2000 Trees Festival alongside names including Lauren Pattison, Mick Ferry and Lou Sanders. In 2024, he was a Quarter Finalist in the Leicester Square Theatre New Act of the Year Competition.

Until his move to Manchester in 2023, Harry helped to run the weekly open mic night Long Live Comedy with Kelly Edgar. He is a key contributor to the North East comedy co-operative Felt Nowt, writing the regular newsletter and helping to establish the Feeling Sketchy sketch night.
