I was delighted to receive an email from the BBC Writersroom informing me that my sitcom pilot Bloody Tourists progressed to the second round of the BBC Comedy Script Room 2020. This places it in the top 13% of the 3,590 scripts entered into the competition! Considering Bloody Tourists was the first comedy script I had ever written, and my first submission to the Comedy Script Room, I was very happy with the result. Plus, I have something to aim for next time…
