After weeks of musing, pondering, outlining, and script writing, I have finally completed my first module as an MA student. After at least eight rough drafts, Nick Murphy’s Last Broadcast is in a good place. The Writer’s Statement seems to accurately reflect my intentions, inspirations, and insights into where the story comes from and what it’s trying to say. I even got through the reflective essay, discussing my journey so far and the ways in which undertaking my course has improved my project and made me a better writer. After just shy of three months, I have handed in my work and eagerly await feedback.
When you reach the finish line, it’s always good to celebrate. Now to get started on the countless other projects I’ve started and plates I have spinning.
