Though my short horror screenplay Nick Murphy’s Last Broadcast didn’t progress to the Quarter-finals of the Killer Shorts Horror Short Screenplay Competition this year, I was pleased to see it placed in the top 20% of the 900+ entries. In this early stage of my screenwriting career, just having my work read is a fantastic feeling, so knowing that it just missed out on making it to the next round is very inspiring. I will definitely be working on a short horror in preparation for next year’s competition!
